Client Notes

What couples and planners say after the tide goes out

Feedback from recent coastal productions along the Garden Route and Cape Peninsula.

"They rebuilt our entire dinner layout forty minutes before guests arrived because the wind shifted. The team had a backup plan ready and executed it without a single question. Our cliffside dinner for twenty went ahead exactly as we imagined."

Megan & Pieter

Cliffside dinner, Hermanus

"The production plan arrived within 48 hours as promised. It covered power supply, waste removal, and even the tidal schedule for our beach ceremony. We didn't have to think about a single logistical detail."

Thandi Nkosi

Corporate retreat, Plettenberg Bay

"Three days of festival setup on a remote shoreline with no road access. They coordinated every delivery by hand and kept the site spotless. The marine-grade staging held up through a full day of gusty winds."

James Whitfield

Private celebration, Cape Peninsula

"They handled permits, power, and waste management so we could focus entirely on the occasion. The site was left cleaner than we found it—something our guests still mention."

Sarah & Daniel

Beachfront wedding, Knysna

Terms & Clarifications

The following notes define how Aquitaine Ventures scopes, prices, and delivers coastal production work. They exist so there is no ambiguity between what a client imagines and what the coastline allows.

Site Assessment & 48-Hour Plan

Every engagement begins with a site assessment. Within 48 hours of that visit, you receive a detailed production plan covering layout, power requirements, and access logistics. This plan is a working document, not a final quotation.

Tidal & Weather Dependencies

Coastal setups are scheduled around tide tables and wind forecasts. If conditions shift, we adjust the layout or timing rather than cancel. Clients should expect flexibility in the schedule on the day of the event.

Permits & Environmental Compliance

We handle all necessary permits for beachfront and shoreline venues, including environmental assessments where required. Any restrictions imposed by local authorities are communicated to you before the final plan is confirmed.

Vendor Coordination

Our team manages the full vendor chain—caterers, sound engineers, and licensed bar operations. We do not subcontract without your approval. All third-party services are coordinated through a single point of contact on our side.

Power & Waste Management

Generators, battery systems, and waste removal are included in every production plan. For remote shorelines, we arrange access for equipment and ensure all waste is removed after the event. No exceptions.

Scale & Adaptability

From a cliffside dinner for twenty to a multi-day festival layout, the production approach scales with the site. Access constraints, wind exposure, and tidal schedules are assessed before we commit to any structure or layout.

Production formats

Every shoreline has its own rhythm. Choose the format that fits your occasion, and we handle the permits, power, and logistics around it.

What we handle

Full production, from tide charts to the last dance

Every coastal event comes with its own constraints. Our team manages the logistics so you can focus on the occasion itself.

Tented structures & staging

Marine-grade frames and UV-stabilized fabrics rated for coastal wind exposure. We engineer each layout around the specific beach access and tidal line.

Lighting design

Low-glare fixtures that work with the natural dusk light. We plan power distribution and backup supply so the setting sun never cuts the evening short.

Licensed bar operations

Fully compliant bar service with responsible serving protocols. We coordinate stock, ice, and staffing so your guests are looked after from arrival to last call.

On-site coordination

We work directly with local caterers, sound engineers, and rental partners. One point of contact keeps the schedule tight and the communication clear.

Permits & power supply

Municipal permits, environmental assessments, and generator placement are handled in advance. We also manage waste removal so the shoreline stays clean.

Site assessments

Request a site visit and receive a detailed production plan within 48 hours. We account for wind exposure, access constraints, and tidal schedules before recommending a layout.
