Terms of Service
This agreement sets out the terms under which Aquitaine Ventures provides coastal event production and venue management services. Please read these conditions carefully before engaging our services.
Aquitaine Ventures acts as the primary production coordinator for coastal events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate retreats, and private celebrations. Our responsibilities include the provision of tented structures, marine-grade staging, lighting design, licensed bar operations, and on-site coordination with local caterers and sound engineers. We also manage permits, power supply, and waste management as part of our full-service logistics chain.
The client agrees to provide accurate and timely information regarding the event's purpose, expected guest count, and any specific requirements. Access to the site must be granted for assessment and setup within agreed hours. The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions for the use of private land, while Aquitaine Ventures handles all public beach and municipal permits. Any changes to the event schedule must be communicated in writing at least 72 hours in advance.
While Aquitaine Ventures takes every precaution to ensure weather-resilient setups and safe installations, we cannot be held liable for natural events such as severe storms, tidal surges, or high winds that are beyond reasonable forecasting. Our liability is limited to the direct costs of the services provided. We do not accept responsibility for personal items, third-party vendor performance, or changes in guest behavior. Clients are encouraged to secure their own event insurance for comprehensive coverage.
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. If the client cancels the event more than 30 days prior to the scheduled date, a partial refund of the deposit may be issued, minus any non-recoverable costs already incurred. Cancellations within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. Aquitaine Ventures reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the client fails to comply with safety regulations or provides misleading information that could compromise the event's integrity.
We may update these terms periodically to reflect changes in our operational practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. This agreement is governed by the laws of the Western Cape, South Africa, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
